Another 38 - mainly retired - football internationals were lining up for the United Nations Development Programme's annual game, which was held in Lisbon, Portugal on Monday. Ryan Babel didn't participate himself, but did send his best wishes - and especially to fellow Dutchmen Edgar Davids, Patrick Kluivert and Phillip Cocu, who did participated.
Ryan:
I believe it is important that everybody tries to help the best way they can. If you are a musician or a football player you have ways to help, and if you are a football fan or just someone else with an urge to help - then please try to help by a contribution and by creating awareness.
Ryan himself has already helped by raising money, and he is creating a song together with a bunch of famous Dutch artists All the earnings will go to uncut to the Haiti¨victims. Follow the effort here on Ryan's site
